Thank you to all who came to see one of our most successful shows to date. Godspell, the modern and creative retelling of the Gospel of Matthew, with music by Stephen Schwartz, has been a fantastic show with a very talented and energetic cast. Thank you to cast, crew and all audience members!

Sterling on the Lake and Fifth Row Center will hold a Summer Theater Camp for students ages 6-18 on July 19-23 at Sterling on the Lake, from 9:00-12:30 pm daily. The Camp will offer valuable core skills classes for children and teens who want to perform onstage. Students will learn acting skills, proper speaking and singing and stage movement. Stage movement will include dance for musical theater . “Elective” classes are included in the tuition and will include Getting Ready for Your Pageant, Sign Language, Mime & Juggling, Sword Fighting and Acting for Film and TV. All teachers are experienced in their craft and work with teens or children.

Our popular Outdoor Summer Theater will be holding Auditions on May 3, 4, and 5. Ages 10-adult for 2 one-act comedies for all ages: Dorothy Meets Alice/Peter Meets Robin in “The Wood.” Don’t miss your chance to participate in this fun family theatrical production directed by Ronnie Gordon.

These are just a few of the wonderful comments we've received from the South Hall area since our inception in 2008. Led by Board of Directors Scot and Donna Chalmers and Dan Kniffen, day-to-day operations are currently conducted by Artistic Director Donna Chalmers, Business Manager Monica Goodspeed and a volunteer Advisory Board. The Board consists of approximately 30 people from the community, in all ages, walks of life, some with no experience in theater at all, some with degrees. In an effort to restructure the current Board, each member will be asked to be responsible for the leadership of a specific area of the organization, actively committing time and energy to accomplishing the goals of the theater. We are starting a new Board, so if you see an area that you would be interested in heading for us (see list on website), please download the Advisory Board Application from our new website by May 1. We NEED YOU! No experience necessary, just an active commitment!
